PRE-SERVICE TRAINING

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CASA VOLUNTEER?

CASA - Voices for Children is now recruiting caring volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in Benton and Lincoln Counties.

Online pre-service training sessions are starting soon!

Our 30-hour, interactive online training course can be completed in the comfort of your home, and will prepare you to be an effective advocate for a child in the foster care system. 

​

Now is the perfect time to become a CASA volunteer! The entire training process is completed virtually, and once sworn in, advocates can support their case children safely through virtual or socially-distanced visits. CASA volunteers are needed now more than ever to advocate for children's needs and help them reach safe, permanent, nurturing homes.

STEPS TO BECOMING A CASA

Schedule a virtual "CASA 101" meeting with our Program Supervisor

Complete 30 hours of online advocacy training and get sworn in by a judge as an official CASA

Fill out the advocate application and obtain references

Meet with your CASA supervisor, who will always be available for support and guidance

Complete a personal interview and thorough background screening

You're now ready to change a child's story! Select a case, and begin advocating for a local child in care!
