INTERN AT CASA-VFC

Enhance your Education

BECOME AN INTERN

CASA-Voices for Children offers multiple internship positions each semester to students studying social work, non-profit marketing, political science, and other related fields.  If you are interested in interning with us, please e-mail casa@casa-vfc.org.

Interns have a variety of tasks depending on their interests, and will be exposed to all areas of the agency. As a small staffed agency, information and communication is open and frequent. Interns will have exposure to all open cases, attend court hearings, and experience the work done outside of court. Interns will develop an understanding of the child welfare system and experience all aspects of a non-profit, such as marketing, operations elements, and volunteer opportunities.

Examples of interns' tasks:

Reading court cases
Attending court hearings
Creating ads
Social media posts
Recording data from cases
Attending special events
Making promotional fliers, cards, etc
Helping with other tasks as needed

Please note, CASA-VFC's internship program is currently on hiatus due to COVID-19.

We hope to resume accepting internship placements in Spring 2021 - please fill out the application form below if you are interested in a Spring internship with us!
