For three decades, Kappa Alpha Theta has partnered with National CASA and its state and local programs to give a voice to children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Oregon State’s Beta Epsilon chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta raises money for CASA every spring by putting on the “Theta Ironbrawl”!

Wednesday, April 16th, 2025:

6:00 PM • 5K RUN TO OUR CASA (open to the public!)

This 5K race starts and ends at the Kappa Alpha Theta house. Please be at the house at 5:30 pm to get your race bib and pay your $5 (cash, card, or Venmo) entrance fee. Check-ins, coin jars, and a donation box will also be on location.

ALL DAY • DUTCH BROS CUPS FOR A CAUSE (open to the public!)

Dutch Dine-Out, now known as Cups for a Cause, will be taking place all day long at each of the 5 Corvallis Dutch Bros locations! Please remember to mention that you are there for Kappa Alpha Theta’s Ironbrawl, or show them the flier.

7:00 PM • ZUMBA NIGHT (open to the public!)

Join Kappa Alpha Theta for their annual Zumba night fundraiser for CASA - there'll be high-energy music, dancing, and as always, tons of fun! Zumba starts at 7:00 pm at the Memorial Union Ballroom (doors open at 6:30). $5 entrance fee (cash or Venmo). Check-ins, coin jars, and a donation box will also be on location.

Kappa Alpha Theta members will be volunteering for CASA on Thursday in our Resource Center, helping to sort and organize donated items for children in care and their families.
